Re: Airtronics Q-Tee Build

Yes Paul, I was going to put a Speed 400 direct drive into it but didn't have the correct size collet. Re living the 70's with the 049 for now!

Re: Airtronics Q-Tee Build

Good to hear Dave.

Here is the little Headwind. 1/2A size but someone recovered the fuse in red. I will be interested to know what you use for power as this will need about the same.

Wing all framed up and ready for covering. Nice weather just showed up a few days ago! Just need a little rain tonite for the radish farmers.

Re: Airtronics Q-Tee Build

How is it coming Dave?

I have had in mind to build one some day, then a couple of weeks ago at the auction there was something similar being held up. Yup! I got it for $20 and turns out to be a semi scale Headwind! An ARF too for crying out loud! Oh well! It's nice and light so I'll put a motor in it and give it a go.

You gonna tell us what your "Secret Covering" is? Looks nice on the tail so far.

Re: Airtronics Q-Tee Build

The next step was to mount some rails for the servos. Decided to go with Hitec HS 55's
Also, added some Dubro Mini EZ connectors to the tail.
