imported_tire_tec Trust me, use one! I was running indoors and my car took a hard hit, caused the steel spur gear to rub through the LIPO case. when I took the pack from the car I could hear a sucking sound for a minute or two. the POOF!!! filled a High School gym up with smoke and fire. If I had a LIPO pouch, I would have had enough time to put the pack in to contain the events!

imported_rbjeepthing I peronally use an old ammo box from a surplus store. It was something I had lying around and when i'm not using it to charge I store all my Lipo's in it. The few places I have used it where impressed with the idea and said it's probably better then the bags.

I think I originally paid $10 for it and can be found at any surplus store or your local Princess Auto. Just dremel out a small hole and run the charge wires through the hole with a grommet.

Nick411 the only reason i got mine is for indoor racing where it is mandatory but i have never actualy needed it nor do i think i will ever need it (knock on wood). As long as you don't over charge or under charge the battery you don't need it but should get it just in case but if you intend on racing indoor than yes you do need it.

little_wingt2009 do you need it no
do you want it yes

lipos are very safe when treated properly
for just a couple of bucks it just a extra safety measure but if anything was to happen and you did not have the bag then you will be saying some pretty words
