And yes the Kelowna fun fly has been cancelled. Looks like there is a heli fun fly in Mission on July 16th though. Going to see if I can get there. Don't know anything about it. Also, there is a general "All Bird Fun Fly" at the High country Flyers field near Logan lake. I'll now be going there this weekend instead. Flown there a few times. It's always well attended by the fixed wing guys with a few of us rotary guys as well. Would be great to see more heli flyers there. Re: Noooooo!!!!!!!! Yup. Kramerr is correct. I've been in contact with the organizer of the event and he was saying that the Kelowna Airport Authority was being a real pain. So he had no choice but to shut it down. As for the Chilliwack one, when I first started this thread, I'm sure it was listed on their website and on MAACs website. But now I can't find it anywhere. I'm starting to wonder if it's actually happening now as well. I heard a rumor saying something about it possibly happening in agassiz but I can't seem to find anything to confirm that. Anyone else know? I really want to get to at least one heli fun fly this year. I can't afford to go to far though. Darren |

Re: Noooooo!!!!!!!! The Kelowna Club had to find another field. The field that they found had issues that were brought up from the Kelowna Airport Authority. |
