Caster's new zx-1.5r buggy!!!

I have a completely new car coming my way for 2009, and wanted to give everyone a look. It's probably not a buggy anyone has seen around these parts...at least not yet!!!

The ZX-1.5R has received rave reviews around the world, and of the 25 team drivers, 17 of them are from the U.S. so watch for the name to start popping up during big races on North American soil. Caster is already a BIG name overseas, and is currently one of neo09's largest corporate sponsors!

I will be receiving my buggy's, engine's and a host of other gear from Caster within the next couple of weeks, and am about 50% certain I will be running it in Tillsonburg. Fingers crossed!

I've attached a few action pics of the buggy, and a snap shot of the .21 Grenade engine I am running also. It's a 7-port .21 and is apparently craaaazy fast yet gets amazing fuel economy!

Rick Endler is painting the lid for me, so expect it to look like a million bucks when it's done. Thanks again Ricky buddy!

See ya' at the races!!!

I ran a Caster K8T truggy the summer before last. It was a "relicense" from Mugen and was very similiar Mbx5T, but with the MBX5 style diffs. It was a very reliable and well balanced truggy. Actually, after running that for a season it made me go out and buy the actuall Mugens. Although, I have seen almost no difference in quality.

Nice choice, I have no doubts it will do well.

There are similarities to the Mugen. Maybe I can use Chewy and Justin DaSilva's set-ups huh! LMAO...

Thanks Chad. We missed ya' down at Factory Tracks this weekend bud. It was a good turnout, and fun as usual!

And yes, of course I will let you try out my new 1.5R Caster buggy!!! It would be my pleasure. There's a growing list of guys wanting to try it out, and that's cool! I have to get as much wheel time in as possible with it at Tillsonburg practice, so maybe after the racing, or during the summer sometime bud!

Congrats Chad! The Buggy looks great! Have you tested out the Grenade motor yet? What are your thoughts?

imported_xxfile 04-01-2009 02:58 PM

Grenade?
i could think of a lot of less sketchy names for a motor>
kinda implies a lot of bad stuff involving blowing up,
fragmentation, big bang theory, LOLLOLOL
