my questiong is y? the first 777 hasnt even been out for a year yet has it? its kinda dumb? but hey when u have a strong following i guess u can do that?

michaely. 04-26-2005 05:57 PM

I think the Kanai 2 and 3 where only few months apart too?....

Mr X 04-26-2005 06:37 PM

maybe kyosho doesnt care about making tons of money. maybe they care about giving people the best buggy possible. and they also want to keep their winning reputation. and im gald that kyosho will now distribute their cars from Japan in the US withtheir new building in California. look here www.kyoshoamerica.com they even have the blizzard which i hope will be sold again and the prices might be lowered too. so this buggy wont have an outrageous price like the giga crusher.

maybe there just appealing to there costumers

Skagen 04-27-2005 08:31 AM

they have been having a lot of problems with the 777's rear end. most of the Kyosho factory driver were running Kanai 3 complete rear ends at the past worlds when the buggy first came out, and most of them are still doing so.
also, they are claiming that the new SP2 has solved most of the reliability problems of the SP1

It's good to see someone knows there stuff. I was going to say that.

Road Warrior 04-30-2005 03:00 AM

Hmmm, just out of curiousity, since I own one.. :) what kind of problems are there with the rear ends in the standard 777?

Mugenman 04-30-2005 08:24 AM

There are a few new parts. New Chassis, New Universal. They may change the steering ackerman and a few other parts. I posted some new parts that James Dibble posted on another forum. The 777 has a twitchy feel that makes it hard to drive agressively. Kyosho moved alot of weight forward with this car and are now moving it back to where it was on the K3. Most people are faster with a K3 than a 777. Jared Tebo, Jeremy Kortz and Mark Pavidis all have been testing chassis's and other parts. Fioroni has just released a new chassis that makes it the same as a K3 but you still need different universal's. Others can add more.

I have never heard of anyone complaining about the 777 suspension. I have heard people saying things like 'I thought that you could not improve on the K3 but then there was the 777' Where are you hearing / reading about these problems? I know also that Mr McLean told me that the upgrade from K3 to 777 was worth the $$$. I believe that Dave Henry drove McLean's 777 last year and could not believe how good it was. ???
