Hobbico Twinstar ARF
Has anyone bought, built or flown on of these planes? Seems like a nice easy step into twins.
Pass on your reviews. Andrew |
Two of my flying friends each have two of them. They bought the second one when Tower announced they were discontinuing them. (I believe they are now supplying them again.) Anyway, they like 'em fine, and both have had single engine landings without major problems. One put 25's in his, the other put 40's. If you get one, consider the rather limited tank size which is provided--and (I am assured) is as big as you can get in the space provided. Good luck, Dzl
Oops, I forgot to mention that the first editions had shelf paper coverings, and I assume the new ones do, too. If that's important to you, you might want to look before leaping into one! Dzl |
Do a search on RCU in the multi engine forum...........lots there.......
