Bowman rings on NEW DA engines?

I see that ThunderboltRC is selling new DA60's &DA120's with Bowman rings installed. Why? What problem with DA engines is this trying to solve?

I believe that bowman rings aren't so much to fix a problem as they are a mod for an engine. For the DA-60 and 120 it helped smoothed them out a bit and raised the compression slightly

I could see a ring increasing compression, lasting longer etc. but for the life of me I can not see why a DA engine with decent compression would be smoothed out?

The less blow by on the ring will make the engine run smoother. That's straight from Frank Bowman himself. We had seen this on a mintor 60 that had huge piston clearance.
