Video - who's doing it?
 

I'm sure theres several people planning to take vids at this years event.
How about co-ordinating something? Is anyone interested?
What I have to offer is a Mini-DV Camcorder on a tripod with a portable power supply and about 4 or 5 tapes. I also have a spare tripod for someone else to use if they don't have one.
What I'm thinking is if enough people are interested, several cams can be put on pods and left unmanned to record, and afterwards the tapes can be collected for whoever is into making vids.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I seem to bring my camera alot but I get so busy it always ends up staying in the car?? crazy!! See everyone there!!!!

thats why the tripods can work well - unmanned. just set vidcam before any race, and leave it sit to cover its area - there will be plenty of angles if enough people agree to work together. If a free body wants to man the tripod and take moving shots when he's not busy, then go to town!
if you have a portable power pack with an inverter, you can plug in and have unlimited battery life too.

RCTV has shown interest in getting some footage of this event . They have not yet confirmed it but they have mentioned it .

i know our team will be definately recording some video footage of the tillsonburg race.

is it april yet?:GRIN:

i know milkman from glenwood will be doing video and pics for the event as well. he posts alot on youtube and the like. also , i belive kevin cobello from ftr will be taking pics there as well .

does this mean you want to coordinate? if so give me some details!

im sure we can coordinate things so that we get plenty of video from the race.

I will be doing "Almost Live Race Coverage" again at tis event (I don't think there is wireless there though) at good 'ol:http://johnnyboydotca.blogspot.com/ :)

I'll shoot some vid, but probably with just my camera so that uploading it is easy.
