Brushless Savage

Just like the title says, i am converting my savage into a brushless beast. I was going to sell it but it is my dream truck, But i do not like nitro. Someone suggested it to me and i started right away on it. i have the whole savage stripped down and waiting for my new Fastlane machine TVPs. I am thinking about making my own motor mount and battery trays to save some money.
The bling factor is not going to be to high at the start, to convert it is will cost 400 dollars roughly. I plan on having Fast Lane Machine everything though. It will be an all aluminum beast (hopefully) before the end of the year. It is going to be a basher, and nothing but.
If someone can suggest anything i shuld do to make it better in your opinion, just let me know. BTW i ordered a fegaio 7xl motor and am going to order a warrior 9920 controller. If someone is going to diss me go ahead and i will take it, but don't be to harsh on the project.
I will update with photos when i receive my first parts. I am also going to put before and after pictures when i get it running. Thanks for reading and PLease reply
My organized parts bin.

Starting on monday

I am bringing the motor mount and low CG battery mount diagrams to a metal shop in my town to see the cost and how long it will take. I am hoping to get the chassis to rolling by the end of the week depending when my TVP's come in. I will update everyday i get something

Don't spend your money on the fabrication shop, the motor mount you can make yourself with hand tools. As for the batteries, you would probably wanna run 12 cells. I don't know how much $$$ you can spend but it would probably be better if you invest into lipo's. its gonna cost ya, but the runtimes are great, and so is the power. Not to mention the less weight. That motor is a long can motor so its got more torque so try some big pinions, unless your goal is wheelie action.

i know guys in the machine shop business, I do not want to make it myself because it would take me a long time and i have a deadline on this. I am running 16-18 cells on this truck. leaving the two speed and getting a y-cable.
