Recommendation for 40 Size Profile Plane Please

Hi,

I would like to give a profile plane a try. Can anyone recommend a 40 size that has removable wings? Thanks.

ohio model planes sells the Kat V2
great plane with a price that is hard to beat

If you maybe interested in the non removable wings, the MOJO maybe a nice option. Its considered one of the best 40 sized profile.

and with that i complete 200 posts :D

oh there is one more
The bad boy V2. it has a really good hardware kit. Lots of carbon fibre stuff. but i havent seen this in stock in North america in the past 2 months.
the only place that has it is the manufacturer itself who is in australia.

My recommendation is the MOJO. Either get the kit from www.swannyshouse.com or ARF from Billy Hell.

If you want a Morris Knife I got one hanging in my garage that I will let go at a fair price.

Hey i just got the Hanger 9 Tribute 36.

It is a lodes of fun.. i have a os46fx on mine.. crazy power.. do anything you ask of it..

Hi HangmaN,

I just took a look at the Tribute and notice I can order it in Canada. It looks good, especially since the wing and horizontal stab can be removed for transporting - it should be easy to build a box to travel with - I may order one.

Did you stengthen anything, or have any problems with the CG when using the larger than recommended engine?

Thanks for your help.

Hey bud i had no problem.. Would have needed about 2-3 oz. led added at the tail so ended up moving the servo back there.. Solved the trouble and no need for added Led.

Tribute 36

Hi,

Thanks for the advice on the tail servo. I think I'll be ordering one.

Do you know what the final weight came in at with the 46FX? Thanks.
