Very nice! The field looks a bit tight for high speed aircraft, where is it located?

Merville, BC. Vancouver Island near Comox. For a jet like this one, you definitely need to keep it over the trees. :eek:

Merrville? Frank McCrindle's place? That's too cool. In the 80s we use to go out there religiously every Tuesday and Thursday night to hang out at the shop, drink coffee and talk R/C. Back then there was no flying field on the farm; our field was in a wooded area between Comox and Courtenay. Just this past August Frank and Peter Mazzocchi (they owned the shop together), plus their wives Barb and Melody came to North Bay for a couple of days to visit us during their cross Canada tour. Small world :D.

Thanks for all your comments, guys. I've only got two flights on her, the first was four minutes and I put 2200mAh back into a 4000mAh battery. I set the timer for five minutes for the second flight. Here are some ESC logs.

Someone on RCG dopplered the flight at 111mph (about 178km/h). The passes were into wind, so I'm thinking she's getting 115mph. I can't wait until the battery is broken in. :cool:

Very nice. It has a good profile in the air, easy to see. Free shipping too:-). Looks like you can launch right off the grass. I'm going to bite!
