This is waht I have burned with my heli this season

My poor 2 furys went through 79 gallons of coolpower 30 this season.

But this sacrificed 3 cracked crank cases, one broken crankshaft, one destroyed engine (connecting rod failure while in flight) to get to this point.

Try to make it to 80 b4 Dec 31 and also looking for fuel sponsor next year.

Rappyfly, those fuel jug stoppers make for great epoxy mixing cups if mixing a small quantity!

I seen you fly the other weekend when the film guy was there with McIntyre.....
Awesome flying!!! 8)

I guess burning close to 80 gallons helped considerably!

Wow! 79 gallons in a year.
I'm impressed. If I get through 6 I'm happy.

How much time do you spend at the field?

I go through about 36 gallons a year on a .50, the only thing I ever have to change is a bearing once a season. I have heard that the MP2's like to crack the crank cases......Whether this is true or not...I don't know because I don't own one, but it may be soemthing to look at.

Thats sick man! SICK!

Did you check to see if you have a hole in your tank?? ;) maybe its leaking out while you fly....

Rappyfly 12-16-2003 01:25 PM

Hahahahaa:D That is funny...

I almost become the field officer, and the club president will ask me how was the grass and the field condition....

But we had new die hard already, he flew "yesterday", right after snow storm.

How much do you pay per gallon?
80x $ 30= $2400 You need to buy it by the 45 gal drums :P

Brian Facey 12-18-2003 11:27 AM

Why don't you buy the ingredients and mix your own. Then you know the quality of the jug's contents and you save about a 1/3rd of the cost or better. It is not hard to do.
