Loving Aerofly RC7 Ultimate

Upgraded from Pro Deluxe which I had not used for long time...and it was so worth it. A lot of fun and will really get my flying skills sharpened up.

Slowly putting together a series of vids that really show off the great gameplay in this sim. This software is saving my sanity on rainy days in the UK.

I have an older version of aerofly. Are the upgrades free?

IIRC it's a paid upgrade.

I picked up Standard, which is on sale right now on Steam (until Dec 1). Enjoying it a lot, even if it is somewhat limited in selection.

How does it compare to RF7?

Less flexible, less options, less expensive. Potentially much less expensive (Standard is ~$40 vs $130 minimum for RF)

It's compatible with RF7 controller options as well pretty much every other option (game controller, cheapo USB adapters, flight yokes) except for Phoenix controllers.

I'm using a wired XBox360 controller right now. Game controllers are pretty much the best option if you don't have a transmitter interface since they're dual-stick as well. Aerofly has a quite workable solution for the throttle stick when all 4 axis are sprung.
