installing into fuselage?

i am installing my copterx 450 ae v2 into my agusta 109a fuselage. i have run into a snag. here is the delima.
i have the jr 410t gyro. with pod and boom i had the gyro on the top of the tail boom mount. now i have tried to mount under it, but it dont fit. . so now i am wondering if i can install this gyro in the frame under the tailboom.?
or can i install in the front of the helicopter...?
pls let me know asap.

Used to be they said you must install the gyro as close to the mainshaft as possible, but in reality that theory has been debunked and you should be able to install anywhere without any difference in performance. There's been great debate between the first camp and the rest of the guys who said they installed it in alternative locations with no noticeable difference in performance. The JR 410 is a headling hold gyro isn't it? As long as it initializes facing in one direction it should be fine. Just make sure it is mounted upright and you should be good to go.

My 450 has the gyro under the battery. Works fine.

Yup, you can mount it anywhere in the airframe and it should work fine.

I had to do the same as you show in your photo's when I installed my 450 into the align EC135 fuselage, it it worked just fine.
