Hi

Are you certain that you have a Q28??

I have the manual here but it doesn't list a Q28, but it also doesn't list my Q25.

I have a US Quadra 25 and 2 Quadra 35 engines.

The size difference between the two is noticeable.

They may have made a 28 but I haven't heard of it.

The following sizes are listed

Q35, Q40, Q42, Q50, Q52, Q65, Q80, Q100.

They also make the Q25 (Q250) and the Q200 according to the internet sites for this make of engines.

Can you post a couple of photos of the engine?

Thanks

Well it seems they didn't make a 28 Going by what I was told by Big John ( with Thanks) so I guess it is a 35 It is identical to a picture of a 35 found on that other site stateside. All I need to figure out now is what it is worth. It has never been fired up but well oiled Will try and get pictures on later tonight.Ebay has me hoping right now No this engine didn't come from there it was with a trade I made with my neighbor and fellow club member

If you can get $150.00 for it you would be lucky. I have a next to new Q42 that I've had sitting in a box for 15 years. It has a spring starter on it and a spare in the box. If someone gave me $150.00 for it I would retire on April 30/06. Come to think of it I'm retiring then anyway.

Hey what size is a 42 in c.i. or cc.'s.I am looking for a gasser for a CMPro YAK54 140 fibre glass fuse.I have been told by someone on here that had one that a Saito 180 wasn't enough power as he had to add about the weight of the engine in the nose to balance it.Maybe if I can get $150 for mine I could then buy yours

Hi

Nice pics.

Yes. Your engine certainly appears to be a 35.

I believe that the 42 has two 2 rings. I also believe that the top bolts on the 42 are closer together than the bottom ones on the the rear mount but I can't see them in the picture.

Maybe Don could confirm this.

Cheers

Actually right now I am 400 miles above the Arctic Circle and the engine is in Nova Scotia. I can't even confirm what day it is.
