Battery Level and Voltage Indicator

I want to install something in my F-16 that will show me my battery level and voltage. Basically something so that I know my flight packs arn't dead yet. What do you guys recommend that works well and possibly looks cool. This would remain in the jet on the components board.

There are some good looking ones in Dreamworks on this page's link and I saw Paul's cricket on the page before that looks pretty cool.

The Cricket is great! Lots of bling with the light show when it starts up, real time voltage monitor, and also remembers lowest voltage in flight. Also price is good a pretty light.

Put one in the Tutor and now going into the Ultra lightning. Also using the Badger switch for dual batt redundancy with 2 A 123's.

Yup I'm sold on the Cricket. Nice and cheap and looks very cool. I'm also running A123's x 2 so do I need two crickets?

This depends on your set-up for wiring. The Badger is a dual fail safe switch with a combined "batt-share" type output. The batteries plug into the badger so if I plugged 2 crickets into each battery all the time, they would just stay on. Not good. So I am just using one on the output so the indication is a combined output of the 2 batteries.

Even if you use 2 separate switches, at some point they are Y'd together so really, when the 2 switches are on, they act as one battery. The only way I could see sepparate units working is if you had sepparate batteries and switches with the crickets connected to the outputs, and then used a batt share before the receiver to isolate them.
