JR 783 Transmitter for Sale
 

I'm selling my JR 783 transmitter, channel 49. I've been keeping it as a back up for my 8103, but I'm starting work on a new project and need the funds. I'm asking $175 for the transmitter only.

I believe this radio was replaced by the 8103. It features 7 channels, 8 model memory, and 3 flight modes (aircraft, helicopter, and glider). It's a computer radio that has dual rates, 6 mixes and a host of other features. Though not quite a slick as the 8103 I've yet to find a function my 8103 does that the 783 doesn't.

I also have the orginal manual that I will include with the sale...

P.S. Sorry I could find a picture of it...The layout is the same as a 8103 the LCD display is just smaller...

I think the 378 replaced this one, the 8103 has more memories, and 8 channels right?

Hi guys,

I have a 783 that I use as a backup/ buddy box.

This is an excellent computer radio that was not replaced by the 8103 but, rather was so simular that I think JR decided they only needed the one.

It came on the market around '96 and was dropped around the time that JR launched the digital trim version of the 8103.

As far as programing goes it has everything that the 8103 offers except:

digital trims
2 multi-point programable mixes
has 1 less channel
has 2 less model memories
also has no graphics on the display screen
