Kitchener Waterloo Scale Rally This Weekend

Hi,

Just an update.

Some time ago I asked for suggestions on how RCC members could meet each other at the KW Scale Rally on Sept. 10 and 11th.

What we have decided to do was to put up a "Meeting Place" bulletin board. This board will have pins and a paper pad where you can write down your name, who you would like to meet, at what time, and the location during the rally. Please check out the board if you expect to meet someone there.

If you want more information on the rally go to "EVENTS" here at RCC or the following web site (with pictures):

Look forward to meeting you there!

Wayne Miller,
Pres. KW Flying Dutchemen

Rally Update

Hi,

There was a graphic put together that we could wear as badges to recognize each other at meets etc. I put on on when I attended a swap meet in Aurora, but I didn't see any others.

Just an update - we have had the first campers arrive and set up at the field today, they are from Michigan. The weather is looking good for the weekend!

If anybody needs any assistance with anything regarding the rally, please PM or email me.

Fly4Fun,

Wayne Miller
Pres. K/W Flying Dutchmen

Some of the guys from the OMFC are going just to watch. I may pop around if I have time. I'd rather get to flying my own plane as I haven't had much stick time in the last couple of weeks.

Booked my hotel room weeks ago. Really looking forward to again attend this premier event with my wife. Forecast weather looks good. Does anyone know at what time the night demo flight on Saturday will begin?

Peter
