A great event as usual, very windy today with gusts up the 35 Km/h maybe more but right down the runway which really worked well for the jets.

Have taken many pictures and will go through the rundown as soon as I reduce them and make up download friendly.

The event was not as well attended as previous years but that could be due the wind and/or father's day.

With almost 30 registered pilots, there were plenty of time slots.

Here are a couple of pictures or Martin Lefebre's own design Y22 and Gripen. They both flew very well. Also a picture of Chris Trump's plane on landing.

A very sad day for Marc Brady. He had a lockout and his beautifully finished Super Bandit did not make it.

Hi Peter,

I hope to hear some news that Myles got his glow plug gremlin sorted out in time?

Thanks for the photos, looking forward to seeing more!

Kelly

Not sure Kelly re. glow plug, Myles did not fly but I assume he did since he was ready but was not too happy about the wind.

Sammy, no fire, ECU shuts down the engine in case of lockout.

Here are a few pictures courtesy of Charles Vella who did not know his grandson was going to be there and was quite surprised and pleased.

Marc Thomson doing some final adjustments on his WREN44 powered Stingray. Great colour scheme Marc. The L39 also belongs to Marc and he has a WREN44 in it with a custom modified ECU.

Gary Arthur had his Hotpost. We mised your L39 Gary.

Martin Lefebre focusing on his high alpha maneuvres.

Peter Doupnik and Paul Sousa getting ready. Paul was too busy to turn around.

rcpete (just because I cannot spell his last name) also getting ready for his next sortie.

Dave Penchuk did a very fine build and paint job on his Reaction 54. He stencils his own graphics and absolutely everything you see on the plane is painted in multiple stencils at times, no vinyl graphics at all even the NO STEP markings. He then clearcoated the whole plane and it came out fantastic.

Rossi, a Frenchman (from France that is) living in Montreal scratch built this SU27. Foam core sheeted wings, stab and rudder, aircraft grade Aluminium formers, is 31Lbs dry and can take 4L of fuel. He still wants to finish painting it soon.
