went to go flying but she didn't pass the pre-flight insp

i went to go flying my somethin extra this evening, did my usual little inspection and noticed one of my wing servos was loose.

closer inspection showed the servo tray had come loose of the wing ribs it's attached to.

i can only imagine trying to fly it back with a servo dangling from, and pulling down, it's big 'ol aileron.

diaster avoided

If all modellers would do a cursory pre flight and then fly a little further out from the pits than many do we would eliminate a large % of the scares and idunnowhahappenedigothit! type occurences..........

Amen to that! In all honesty, I am probably as guilty as most for not being thorough, although I am trying to be more conciencious. Just think if commercial air had the safety/crash record of modellers; there would be no commercial air!
