DLE 30 Ignition

I am mounting an ignition on an RC Guys Decathlon. I would fit well strapped right on to the firewall but that would put it right next to the cylinder head. Just a few inches away. Is that a problem in terms of proximity. It is well away from the rx and throttle servo.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks for the response. I actually managed to get it behind the firewall without any surgery to the fuse.
I am setting up an RC Guys Decathlon I bought used.
Heat was a big concern. Wasn't sure how tolerant EIs are to it.
Still haven't flown the Cuda. Tomorrow is the season opener at Sun Parlour so hopefully....

Thanks again

Thanks, I have the video recorder charged and hopfully someone out there can point it. At very least I'll have some photos.
Still need to paint the cowl but the canopy is done. Turned out pretty good for an amateur though the colour is not quite exact. Close though.
