Color scheme program

I am still trying to find out if anyone knows of a program that allows you to try out color schemes for covering planes. Has anyone seen one?

Photoshop, Gimp, Pixelmator ... just to name a few.

As long as you have a scan of the drawing of your model, and can break it down into areas, you can designate the colour.

Go here ... http://www.papermodelers.com/ and look under the recolor section of the forum. Many of the folks there would be able, and happy to answer your questions.

Cheers,

Tom

I was hoping to avoid the crayon thing. I have a hard time staying in the lines. I thought maybe Monokote or Ultrakote or one of them would have something.

I will try that site Tom.

Haven't tried it myself. You may find a line drawing close to what you want and there is a free downloadable "paint" program.

At your own risk.

I used the crayon method 35 years ago for a full size sailplane. Worked well, even though I was outside the lines at times.
