Dl 100b
 

For the DL engine guys out there, is there any reason I would not want to buy the older DL 100B, I'm told it is the one that came in a blue box. Are the newer 100 or 111 the only way to go with DL?

The only difference between the DL in a brown box and blue box is the box itself and in the blue box you get two different mufflers so the down pipes line up. DL100s are no longer made but parts are available at AZZURE HOBBIES

I used the DL100 brown box this season and I flew the beggezzzz out of it and never had an issue with it. I am quite happy with my engine so far, it is reliable and has tons of power to get me out of a hover or trouble (mostly trouble).
