Simcoe R/C Flying Club Open Fun Fly -- Saturday June 22, 2013
 

It looks to be that time of the year again for advertising our fun flys!:)

SIMCOE Open FUN FLY hosted by the Simcoe R/C Flying Club. Saturday June 22nd - 10:00am till 3:00pm.

Located at our field on the Demaree Sod Farm.
Turn west off of Hwy24 onto Windham Rd 12 (Harmony Rd.) (at the Agraturf Dealer)
Travel 1/2 mile to the laneway on the north side. (911# 1567) Side entrance to Demaree Sod Farm. Follow the signs in! All types of aircraft are welcome! MAAC required. No landing fee.

Free lunch provided for pilots.

Come on out and join the fun!

Rain Date: Sunday June 23rd.

All 72 MHz radio transmitters will be impounded (no impound for 2.4 GHz).

I'll be there again this year. I still have teenage dreams about how nice that field was.

We like the field!:) We will be in a different location this year but still big and lots of area to fly over.
Not much longer till the fun fly.

I can't speak for the club but last year there was jets and heli's there

Yes, you can fly heli's. It is an open Fun fly.:)
From previous years we only have a handful show up. Maybe 3 to 4.

Would I need to register? I will be in the Burford area this weekend, so, at this point I am 50/50 on attending... either flying a helicopter or as a spectator?
