MAAC decals

I emailed MAAC about this but never got an answer. Does anyone know if they are finally making MAAC decals in vinyl yet. I like the ones they have, but they don't last very long when you get gas and oil on them.

I suppose you could put some 'Doculam' on them. Being an E-power guy, I'm just guessing. Tex.

Don't know what Doculam is. Is it fuelproof?

It is a clear iron on covering, think clear monokote.

Re: MAAC decals

I received a pm from Richard Barlow concerning this and with his permission I am including it in this post. To me it shows that the people at MAAC are trying to keep up with any current concerns and are actively trying to improve their support of us hobbists. It is one small thing but at least they are paying attention.
Please don't start cutting down MAAC for anything else on this thread, all I am saying is that I had a concern and it was answered.

Good point!!!

I had never heard that this was a problem.

I will refer it to Public Relations.

Richard

Actually, the stuff I have is peal and stick, like a clear Mactac. No heat. Tex.
