The official announcement of Maidenfest 2012

Maidenfest 2012 is graciously being hosted by the Keswick Model Aircraft Club

They are located on the north end of Keswick.

There is lots of parking. A 600 ft runway with lots of unobstructed airspace

The EVENT date is tentatively planned for April 21st with a weather date of April 28th for flyers to get together, inspect each others aircraft and safely maiden them with lots of help and support.

Dave Woon ( flysrcs ) here in RCC is the primary event coordinator and liason with the Keswick club.

He has lots of great ideas and the full support of the club membership.

Dave will join in shortly, and lets us know what the preliminary plans are.
He and i met earlier this evening, and the ideas and early plans are awesome !!!

Woot!! I have no maiden but will deffinatley be at the event. Last Years maidenfest was a hoot!

What type of aircrafts are allowed to do a maiden flight at this event apart from 3D sports scale machines as Extra's, Caps, Giles, Beasts, Yaks etc, etc....

Trevors' Air Tractor is far from beeing a 3D Machine.
With that 5 cyl Moki up front she is ALL Scale baby! :hot: :hot:

What aircraft(s) did you have in mind Sammy?

I think if someone strips and rebuilds or modifies a previously owned plane and it hasn't been flown by the new owner it should qualify. Right Mr. Grace:rolleyes:
