Binding rx~~tx futaba

Is it possible to bind a futaba r607fs to a futaba 7C

Futaba says it's compatible. I had a 607 at one time and didn't find it much different than a 617. Turn Tx on, turn Rx on, press and hold bind button on Rx for 1-3 seconds.
