What's the deal w/ Open SC tires?

Seeing as I'm not going to run my 4WD for the first club race, I'm thinking of running my modified Slash as my second class. Have there been an official rule on what tires/wheels can and can not be run in Open SC? Were guys running 1/8 scale wheels/tires? If so, is there any problem with me running 2.2 stadium truck tires? All I've got are either stock Slash tires, or 2.2 stadium tires. I'd rather not spend more money on a slash, so I'd just like an idea of what I can run.
Thanks!

I think almost everyone was running the stock type short course tires i ran them on my sons stock slash and it had no problem traction rolling so i dont think running 1/8 tires will be any advantage, might even be a disadvantage with the extra rotating wieght and unsprung weight.

Looking forward to see you again Tim we made some more (steeper rollers/jumps) and made the table top wider with a much bigger downside.
