Hostetler 26% Cessna 182 project

Hey everyone, I am going to be posting my progress on my big Cessna right here :D Starting tomorrow (saturday) I will post some pictures. I just unpacked everything and started laying out the formers. Theres A LOT of wood in this kit :!: For anyone interested in this kit or any other Hostetler plane, as I believe this is an option on all of them, the plans show either sheeting the ENTIRE surface (wings, fuselage, tail surfaces) OR capping the ribs on the wing and tail surfaces and sheeting the fuselage. The kit from PCK came with stock for both options  and let me tell you - THATS A HELL OF A LOT OF WOOD :!: I am choosing to sheet everything as that will give me the most realistic finnish (no ribs showing through the covering) and it also adds to the rigidity of everything. There is a drawback to sheeting though - it adds weight, but I am going to put a DA-100 engine on it  so I wont be lacking power

26% Cessna 182 with DA 100? That's a plenty of power to take it to the moon... :D
But then again, scale plane of this size will probaly be around 30-35 lbs, right?
Looking forward to see some pictures.

PCK= Precision Cut Kits, out of New Jersey. http://www.precisioncutkits.com/

The airplane is said to way 26-29lbs, but I want to put floats on it as well so theres a lot more drag and weight. I also want to have a lot of accessories, so I am not sure as to the overall weight. I would guess around 35lbs, hopefully not too much more as I dont want the airplane's flight characteristics to be affected TOO much :D Of course, the engine can always pull it through when you need it to - thats why I am getting a big engine (then again, dead stick?? )

Ill get those pictures here in a bit. I just got up around 12:30est (needed some sleep after working the new bench all day :D )
