Monokote the wing

I'm Monokote-ing the wing. Not sure how to monokote the joint of the wing that has fiber strip with glue (awefully done). I tired to tack with iron but it comes off easily. Thinking about using glue at the edges. Anyone has better experience or suggestion ?

What I like to do when the covering does not want to stick is laying a thin coat of carpenter glue or weldbond or some guys will spray some hair spray on the surface to cover. It should work fine.

Urethane works well on the wood, don't know about the epoxy though.
