Hey Guys

Looking for advice on which powered palm driver should I be looking to buy?
For 1/8th scale. Any advice would greatly be appreciated,

Thanks

I bought the hitachi one and could not recommend it more.
It is more expensive than a lot of them ($88), but it goes so long on a charge and works flawlessly.
Get the OFNA power driver bits and you are good to go.

Doc,

DO you have the model number of it? I had been looking for one as well and it seems the local stores around my place ( Homdepot and canadian tire ) don't carry anything that looks worth while :(

I have a Ryodi one from home depot, it was less than $60 and has a realy cool bit holding end with an adjustable clutch

Battery lasts FOR EVER!

I bought mine at Lowes.

Here is the link to it:

Lifetime warranty and Just for kicks, I drove 22 3.5 inch decking screws on one charge, haha.

I've got the dremel one that came as a combo pack with the cordless dremel as well. Pretty sweet combo if you can find it and usually for about 80-100 for the pair. I've also used mine for driving in 1 1/2" #10 screws into some 2x10's.

Was looking for something a little more compact like the skill palm driver.

One of the best on the market, 2 speed and a nice clutch.

I use the skill palm driver now, it also has a swivel head on it.. However i have found the battery life is not up to par.. Seems like everytime i need it the darn thing is dead, and it has a built in battery so i can not just replace it.

This is the one I have for reference.

Costco has a mini driver with clutch on for $21.00 APPROX

They don't have it online but it is under the product banner of channel lock.

I have had mine for the last year and it has served me well thus far.
