Everyone really. My savage was not running and they all helped me get it running, resoldering and everything, i jumped it and chickenman got an EXCELLENT photo of it.

I thought overall it was a really good show, since it was my first time back in like 10 years. Found a Toyota Altezza body for $10 and I'm happy, was also nice to stop by the offroadrc.ca section to see members rides. Hope to see everyone there next year ^.^ BTW Toby i saw that savage in your lap thing looked awsome upclose! well i was behind the fence of course >.<

I also have not been in like 10 years or more...but now I know why. There were no "deals" or half deals. But whatever, I don't want to be negative today.

The upside was meeting the ppl who frequent this website, it was nice to meet other members and talk about RC and next season.

Anyway, we(Louisgetz, Tefflawn and WeatherB) weren't able to make the 2000 Member After Party cuz our feet and old knees were tired as hell after walking around for so long, so instead we took Louis' new XTM engine out and broke her in!

Again, nice to meet you all!

PeacE!

thanks, those would be my plaid (sp) pants in the back ground LOL

I hate to be negative but I have to agree with Firefox... There were only a couple of deal on new kits and some servos. I found it disappointing that some of the booths were showcasing used items and had staff that were rude and unhelpful.

The highlight of the show was meeting all the offroadrc crew (getting a peak at Chewy's ST1 and hearing his thoughts about the car and Mach .26 engine). You guys did an excellent job at drawing a crowd and showing what this hobby is really about. :)

I had a blast breaking in Louis' engine at the Go Station at 9:30. :)

How did it end up running all put together ? did you have to lock it into 2nd gear ? or is it shifting ok ?

imported_Taylor 11-06-2005 05:45 PM

not enough room for me to get it into second LOL. it ran and ran fast, but it strips spurs out liek nothing that are properly meshed and everything. so i need to look into a steel one

I thought it Sucked! Just like last Year,

I'm think its pretty bad that this is the only Hobby Show of the Year for T.O and the GTA( The Biggest City in Canada) and All they have For Sale is left over Crapp that Didn't sell this year.
And the Few Hobby shops that had stands, Didn't have Very Good Deals IMO..
I could have used the $24 it cost to get in the Doors on Shipping Charges to get some stuff from the US & E Bay....
