Wild paint job!
How does it balance with that long nose?

Great job. I was a member of 439 Sqn while in the military and worked on the Tiger bird. I went to a Tiger meet while stationed in Germany. Fond memories

Re: Cf104

From posts I read, the balance point is about 10 mm from LE.
I had the GAD F104 and that balanced close to the LE too.

Morning All

This from a fellow club member who flew CF-104.

"Yes, as he says, a little more colourful. ........... it does mirror the "tiger" paint scheme that 439 "Tiger" Sqn. used for the periodic NATO Tiger meets in Europe. Here is the real thing:

Re: Cf104

I have seen 3 version from different years. I bought 1/72 scale decals for the CF104 as reference. However, this plane is sport scale so I decided on an easy sport version of the scheme that will look the part in the air. One day I will do a proper model with a proper paint job.

Cheers,

I think ITP did a giant scale F-104, Italian company, they used to bring their prototypes to the Lahr airfield to test fly, we had huge amounts of space. They had an amazing tornado.

Is this the one you started with? I see the tip tanks cut off? I Frankensteined a RC Lander 10 Blade into this one .
