Re: setings glider

Probably the best way to get info on this plane is to call Horizon Hobby. It's a new plane and not many people have them yet.

Re: setings glider

There is nothing special about the Mystique, it is a 4 servo wing, power glider, just Google something like, 6 servo glider futaba 8fg, or 4 servo glider wing programing, you will get lots of results mostly on RCG. The setting come in the manual, you are just after the radio stick and mixing, correct? The big decision, is weather you put the motor on a switch or a slider, or keep it on throttle stick. That will setup the rest of the programing.

Start here; http://www2.ripmax.net/Futaba_Inform...rogramming.pdf

Here is another : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...glider+program

There is a thread on RCG for this glider but mostly about it, not much on radio settings, but there will be soon, considering this glider is aimed as the next step after Radian Pro, so many new pilots will be asking many questions.

Dan, that's the kind of advice/links that deserve a prop. So there you go.

Re: setings glider

So did you already fly this one? I would like to see some input on how it flies compared to same type of gliders in that category, seems to be a bit heavy at 11oz/ft sq, but I guess it should penetrate well. RCG has nothing much to say yet in this either.

Re: setings glider

Dan, I was thinking this would be great for e-sloping, but I'm not a fan of using a built-up wing for the slope; composite or foam handles scrapes, rocks and silly thumbs much better.

Re: setings glider

Hey Lorne, I don't think it would last on a slope very much either, strictly thermal. Cularis would be more like it, in this size, easily repaired.
