108" Yak 55 (Moki 150) - BBKING Build/ Assembly
 

Hey All,

Spent today emailing back and forth with Michel and Dany at AMR. They both have been VERY busy moving to a new shop! It seems the market in canada for AMR kits and Giant scale engines is growing and to meet this demand they now have a larger warehouse and test build area. Michel sent me some pictures I will post up soon of there new facility. They also will have a full fledged hobby store inside for all you local Quebecers! (I am Jealous)

Anyway, I was talking with the boys about all the room in my workshop looking for a project. This winter I am finishing my 33% AMR cub build as well as finishing the design for the 42% AMR Super Cub but still I want something Aerobatic for next year. My RV8 design will be cut soon but i wont have time this winter to do 2 full builds. So we started talking about some of there new product lines....... :rock::hot:

Some exciting details coming up as parts make there way to me in the next few weeks. I can honestly say however I have never been more excited for a new plane then this one. AMR knows how to do it right.

Well I just got off the phone with Michel at AMR. Exciting news the RV8 kit prototype will be cut today and there prototype build will be starting soon!

Even more exciting is my airplane and motor will be shipping out next week!!! I guess I should spill the beans on what I am getting. Aeroworks has a new yak 55 in gold and yellow I will trying out :rock:

As for the engine. Its big and its round.

More details coming soon.

Again hats off to the AMR crew. They are pros and great to deal with!

Well here is some info on the engine i wanted to go scale for this project so I have decided on a MOKI 150 :party:

I just love there sound and power and think this will be a fantastic combo. The plane and engine are shipping out this week!!! Cant wait
