Transport to the field???

9 Attachment(s)
What does everyone use to get there planes to and from the field?

I am looking at upgrading my trailer (to small....) but wanted to see how everyone else does it?

Pictures would also be great!!!

Ill go first. Right now I am using a single place snowmobile trailer.

PIC#1 - BEFORE
PIC#2 and #3 - AFTER

The problem I have is that my new super decathlon's nose hits the front slop of the trailer. a 42% fits in

simple solution leave the nice gas planes here in Hanover. The second pic you were about 15 minutes from our flying field.

I need a trailer also. It looks like your current trailer might fit my need. Are you planning to sell it?

I have a 12 foot v nose ,great for 3-4 planes with a work shop in the front .but remember fuel mileage will take a nose dive with the bigger trailers . I doubt I could even feel your rig behind my caravan were as mine drops mileage by 1/2 .saying that I would not want anything less for my self but I have to admit it costs more than I thought it would to pull.trailer weight 1200lbs.loaded.6' tall .I would be careful not to get more than you need if you have to travel long distances. First of all WOW, I'm impressed with the before picture....Can't belive you fit the Stryker & the Python in the car.

I bought a new big SUV, definatly no match to a decent sized trailer but it should do the job!

Miska 5X10 v nose (almost 11 feet in center) custom height lowered to 6 1/2 feet with side door and torsion suspension for lower/softer ride. Love it! Fits my 43% Extra 300 and two 35% up top if stabs removed. Saved my marriage and my hobby (everything goes in there for the winter!:yikes:) :p

I just picked up a 6x12 last fall for hauling mine. Before that I would just put my tailgate down and haul them in the back of my pickup. Had to watch out for rain storms though.
