Webra in Canada?
Guys:
Where can a guy buy Webras in Canada? Great Hobbies only has the Speed 50 listed. I might be looking for a Speed 120. |
I believe Skycraft in Burlington has them.
Give Karl a call. Ronm |

Did a google for "webra canada" and found this. It's a snippet of a message posted to the RC-Jets list back in 2001:

Thanks Randy and Jim;
I'm looking to match a Webra 120 with the Goldberg Ultimate, largely on your recomendations/postings Randy. Can you tell me how long the 120 is from the shaft C/L(or mount) to the top of the head? It will probably require opening up the cowl, but I'm not sure. I'm looking at the pumped version, but the dimensions should be the same. Cheers, |
Webra

1.20 Specs
for those who need the ultimate 1.20
1055 is the standard 1.20 with TN II carb. 1055P would be the same engine but includes a fuel pump in the backplate. 1055CP is the Competition version of above, special Red head, Promix 9.5 carb 1055XP next step up- has AAR cylinder, Red head, Promix 9.5, and pump Don't have the dimension CL shaft to top of head in the Webra specs, but doing a bit of arithmetic on the info that is there, it looks to be about 83mm. Overall height is 107mm, overall length to rear face of propellor is 110mm for the unpumped engine, add 5mm if it has the pump. Width of crankcase between the engine bearers is 48mm, width from center to center on the mount holes is 58mm and the mount holes front to rear, c to c 30mm. Weight of standard engine is 700gm. Reccommended prop sizes are 16 x 8, 18 x 6 I use a 16 x 8 Zinger wood prop on mine. It fires with sufficient energy to break the prop if you don't get your finger out of the way fast enough and after about a week the finger stops hurting. I won't do that again, so if you wanted to see it, you're too late. Almost forgot, The AAR version would be a little lighter since it has an aluminum cylinder with Webra's special coating treatment. |
