As for radios, I have been realy happy with my hitec optic 6. Good price and will run 8 planes. Has served me well so far.
I fly the reflection with an eflite park 370 outrunner, eflite 25 amp esc and hitec 05s micro receiver. I run 800mah 2cell lipos. I get about 10-11 min of flight time, the last 3 minutes don't quite have the same power as the 1st 7, but it will hover and pull out, just takes more throttle to pull out as you get to 7 or 8 min. running a 3cell might improve flight, however if you went too high in mah, you are going to start to make the plane heavy.
If you get a reflection, there are a couple of things to do to sturdy it up. PM me if you get one and I will give you a couple hints.
It is a ton of fun to fly. This is my second year flying, and I have flown it outside when the wind is down. I think I will be able to handle it indoors this winter in our school gym.
Good luck with whatever you get.
