First, welcome to the hobby!

Are you asking a theory question, how to setup up a particular heli, or advice for a training program?

Setup:
Please list your equipment and setup

Training:
Helis come with a bit of a steep learning curve. Many have been recently addressed by technology and design so it's much easier than when many of learned to fly them. Patience and understanding are key, a good simulator can accelerate the learning curve as well...

Learning:
There are great training programs and instructors out there. Learning helis begins with learning to hover in spot (as all flights begin and end this way excepting crashes ).
Once control in a hover is accomplished, flying around without crashing is about maintaining orientation and being able to recover to that controlled hover.
