I run A123 batteries, pretty much the safe as LiFe but in cans. The best thing I can say about them is that they hold charge for ever, you do not have to worry about storage charge rates. I'll charge mine and leave them at full charge over the winter and as long as you disconnect them from your smart fly they will remain fully charged in the spring....
