Re: Understanding HV sytems
I've got two turnigy chargers. I bought a bunch of a123 cells from a fellow here on rc Canada. The 2200 were OK the 1100 go out of balance. Turnigy lipo I've got some puffed. Some dropped cells. Sick of electric it doesn't work for me. More cheap junk just makes bigger smoke. I found some NIMH at harbour freight . Cycle out at 2189 with 600mah discharge. Ignitions are t
4.8-6 volt. I'm steering clear of anything over 50cc. Props are too expensive engines are crazy price now. Etc 2200 aa123 DeWalt cells in a carden h9 yak. Huge rudder servo three flights and a top off if ya want more.
Accucell 6 and turnigy 8 amp they work OK .
Going ignition on 4 strokes the newer a123 and garphene may be better to just run one battery. Dle 20 is going to be my size limit in future
