Re: Top Flite Cessna 182
Making good progress on the Cessna 182, Leeann Lagace continued with prep work for the interior last night, while I cursed a whole lot getting the rudder, elevator, nose wheel steering and throttle servos all hooked up, but it's done. All three batteries, for receiver, nav lights, and landing lights are done, landing lights installed, receiver is hooked up. Did some epoxy fillets all around the wing saddle. Tonight, should be able to get the throws and rates all set for the servos, and test all the lights. fuel system is in, just need to install the remote fuelling valve. Our one big holdup will be the exhaust manifold for the Saito 100, the one we have is a 15 degree about 1 1/2 in manifold. We either need a shorter straight manifold, or one that's 30 - 45 degrees, to avoid having to cut into the cowl. Once we get our hands on that, we'll just have the interior to install, along with the windows.
