Sorry don't get me wrong, if thats the case then make sure you go 2.4ghz and even go with a better brand so you can swap it onto the next serious rc you plan to buy. Also you should decide what direction of size of rc you want, there are alot so scale what do you want to get into...If you buy a Rx that is only for a 1/10 scale and after you change your mind then that rx is useless.....Anyways just my two cents.
