And here are a couple quick videos of the prep work for tomorrow's maiden!!
1) First start-up of the DA170! I was actually pleasantly surprised at the lack of vibration. The aileron servos are not energized and you can see that they still aren't vibrating! The video also doesn't do justice to the sound... the 170 on the KS cans is actually quite quiet and gives off a really nice sound. Low end seems a little rich (I'll adjust tomorrow) and my throttle curve needs to be removed!
2) This video shows the 3 rates I've got in the surfaces. +/- 35° on ailerons, +/- 46° on elevator. Everything moves bind-free. If this machine is used for 3D, the elevators will need 2" arms to get the 55° max throw.
