One thing you should upgrade on your 600 for winter flying is the tailboom. I'm assuming it is aluminum and if so it will shrink in the cold to the point where belt slippage could be a problem. Go for a carbon fibre, I've got one for my 450 and will soon be getting one for my 600. Too cold to fly today though regardless, damn near -30 with the windchill of around-37. Brrrr.
