Well after a few days off I got a bit done last night and am gonna be working lots again coming this weekend. Has been a busy few weeks.
I glued the balsa leading edge onto the wing using Superphatic and a drop or 2 of ca to hold it in place once taped up. (PIC#1)
Then I did the trailing edge sheeting. (PIC#2)
I also did all the cap stripping. (PIC#3)
After the leading edge had dried, I dropped a bit more Superphatic to wick into the leadinge edge and really hold the sheeting to the LE. THe milled out shear webbs made this a breeze to do! (PIC#4) (looking inside front of wing)
Finally I set the wing up to allow it to dry and left it overnight. WOW is all I could think off when I saw it more or less complete. The chord is 30 inches!!!
