My 40 size trainer conversion with APC 11x7 and 4s lipo is taking 29A at WOT: here is the conversion thread: https://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/show...+40+conversion
Maybe you can limit your throttle to a lower maxim and use the 45A ESC?
What motor are you using? How many amps at WOT?
