The minute the wheels leave the ground the first time, all the time and money you spent on the plane is gone . I had a plane I took 6 months to rebuild and $1000 invested in parts crash 4 minutes into the maiden flight. $250 a minute. :
This is why this hobby is exciting. Your plane could last 10 seconds or 30 years. Every flight after the maiden is a bonus
