People generally use a figure in the range of 25 - 30% of the cord of the wing, back from the leading edge, as a starting point. I expect that there are others with more specific calculations but this is a starting point. One issue that you might need to adjust for is if there is a taper or sweep to the wings. I have seen calculations to help one in this case and hopefully someone can put that up for your reference/information.
