If you have any doubts about the battery, cycle it and you will have that answer.
For all other checks send it in to the Futaba centre already mentioned .
Its in the US in the Chicago area which means back and forth across the border which is a potential pain unless you have some way of sending to and from a US address.
I cant believe no one in Canada has seen the opportunity for radio servi cing......seems like an ideal retirement business for someone with the right credentials...........
